Hotel Bellavista is a great accommodation option on the Almalfi Coast (especially if you aren’t looking for super expensive and super fancy). The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything you needed was in there even a mini fridge and hairdryer. The shower was very powerful. The wardrobe a good size with lots of hangers and bedside lights were warm and cosy. The bed was very large and comfortable. The balcony and view were absolutely stunning. We spent many hours out there reading on the sunloungers or playing cards on the table and chairs. The cleaner came everyday offering clean towels, clean linen, toilet paper and to clean the room. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Praiano. It is on a very quiet street just 80 steps down from the road. The street is beautiful (our favourite In Praiano). It was filled with flowers, lemon trees, ceramics in the walls and helpful signs that led down to the beach. From this street you can access 2 beaches. 1 is by the tower and the other past the church and a bit further down with stunning views over to Positano. Both “beaches” are not really beaches but more like pontoons for swimming or jumping off. The first one is deeper and much colder the second one more shallow and easier access for getting in and out. Both beautiful swimming options, the sea is crystal clear. The hotel is situated in a very good location for accessing groceries/shops/restaurants on the road. An incline of only 80 steps brings you to an excellent panini shop where you can take sandwiches down to the beach. Next door is a wonderful bar serving drinks and nibbles with of course an awesome view. A couple of yards up is an amazing ceramic shop, 2 grocery places, a pharmacy, an ATM, a tourist office and lots of bars and restaurants and cafes. There are bus stops up and down the road should you want to explore Positano/Almalfi/Sorrento. We didnt, we stayed in Praiano as we wanted to relax rather than sight see.

A little quieter town compared to others , the views was absolutely incredible. The hotel is very cute , it is run by a family , the staff are so attentive they are all so nice, guest was well looked after. Breakfast was great , not too much but not so little. Dinner was incredible , so much food ! It is like going to your grandmas house feel. You will not go hungry in this place anyway. Our room is spacious , clean, bright and the balcony gave sunrise and sunset views. The hotel also offers boat trips to Capri (extra fee) which is convenient you don’t have to travel it is just at the beach below. This town is also close to Positano or Amalfi , bus stop is only across the road. Small like private beach down , it is 350 steps it’s not for the weak , but for space , scenery , peaceful? It is worth it.

View was amazing, pictures don’t do it justice. Considering the location, there wasn’t too many stairs to reach the property which we were grateful for. When we booked this place, we didn’t realise breakfast & dinner was included in our stay so that surprised us and we were very pleased. Room was a little tight for 4 people as well as luggage but we made it work. Room was cleaned everyday & towels changed if needed. Super super close to bus stop 7 which can get you both busses to and from amalfi coast & Positano There’s a private hidden beach below property which we visited each day, it’s a bit of a hike (around 500 stairs) but well worth it, no one was there! Very close to scooter rental place, & local supermarket

The staff was wonderful, especially Ms. Adele. She went above and beyond helping us with double checking our upcoming ferry transportation. The garden setting, the tiles, the terrace, the lemon trees, everything is so beautiful! We could not get enough of the gorgeous views! We had breakfast and dinner included. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices, and the dinner included several courses, as it typical in Italy. You were able to make requests ahead of time, for example, our kids liked to eat simple buttered pasta, and also the grilled chicken. We loved our balcony with the view of Positano and Capri, and the Faraglioni at sunset! It is an easy walk to the local church, which is beautiful as well.

The staff was always attentive to our needs. I read comments talking about dinner and its options: we were asked from the moment we arrived if we had allergies or a specific diet. The incredible view, the superlative cleanliness, breakfast and dinner more than varied, the unbeatable price for the Amalfi coast, make Hotel Villa Bellavista the best choice. About parking: parking is a problem everywhere on the amalfi coast and is expensive, when you come here you have to come with this in mind. There is a parking near the hotel, 40 E per day or on the blue zone in street. Thank you!
